The Utah National Guard Charitable Trust was
established as a 501(c)3 entity in 2005.
Contributions to the trust come from private
citizens and corporate organizations such as Ralph
L. Wadsworth Construction Company, Merit Medical,
American Express, Daughters of the American
Revolution and Overstock.com. Please see our Web
site for more details on upcoming events which
support the Utah National Guard Charitable Trust.
If you are a Utah military Service member or
immediate family member in need of financial
assistance, please fill out the application below
and submit it to the Trust with appropriate
documentation of the financial hardship and a letter
stating your request for funds. Some cases may
require additional information or documentation.
Depending on the type of financial hardship,
approved requests may receive a grant or no-interest
loan.
Examples of financial hardships with which
the Trust may assist families include medical, home
or property emergencies. Other situations may also
qualify on a case-by-case basis.
Applications received by the Utah National Guard
Charitable Trust board of directors are reviewed by
the board comprised of military officers and
noncommissioned officers, military retirees,
volunteers and government civilian employees. These
members administer the rules and regulations of the
Charitable Trust. Requests must receive at least a
majority vote for approval of any disbursement of
funds.
