Youth Programs
The UTNG Child and Youth Program operates with a focus on life skills, personal well being and leadership opportunities. The program is availableFamily Readiness Support Assistants
(FRSA) support the command by providing training to the FRG volunteers and ensuring the command is informed of current and updated regulations, policies, and directives that affect Family Readiness. They empower commanders in their duty to deliver the Total Army Family Programs so that Soldiers and Families are entitled, informed, educated, assisted and made ready for the unique demands of military life before, during and after deployment.Community Covenants
The Community Covenants (CC) Program is designed to bring local city and town leaders together with military leaders and programs to better serve the Service Members who live in their respective communities. As a grass rootsEmployer Support to Guard and Reserves
(ESGR) develops and promotes employer support for Guard and Reserve service by advocating relevant initiatives, recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws, and resolving conflict between employers and service members.Transition Assistance Advisor
(TAA) establishes a uniform process to educate, assist in obtaining services, and provide ongoing readjustment support and ensures all deployed veterans and their families have the knowledge and ability to access the benefits they have earned.Military Family Life Consultants
provide support for relationships, crisis intervention, stress management, grief, occupational hazards, and other challenges military families face. Their goal is to help empower individuals to work through their issues, increase individual and family harmony and promote confidence in handling the stress of military life.Family Assistance Centers
(FAC) are designed to assist the families of military service members during peacetime and during training or mobilization. FAC are open to all branches of the military (Army Guard, Air Guard, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, active-duty Army, and all Reserve Components). Family Assistance Centers provide "one-stop shopping" and resources to help family members cope with any issue they encounter as a military dependent. Basic services provided by FACs include the following, regardless of location: TRICARE/ TRICARE Dental Assistance, Point of contact (POC) for legal and pay issues, POC for community support, Emergency- assistance coordination, Counseling Support/ Referral, Family/ Household Emergencies, Family Care Plan Information, Information, Referral, Follow-up and Outreach, DEERS information (Defense Enrollment and Eligibility System), Site for family communication, ID Cards referral, Financial Counseling and Referral, Support FRG programs.
