The following documents are provided to help you, as a unit
commander, to have an effective Family Readiness Group to support your
soldiers and thier families. If yo have any questions please contact our
Senior Family Readiness Support Assistant at 801-432-4916. We look

Army Leaders' Reference
This handbook is designed for Commanders and Military Liaisons for
the Family Readiness Group (FRG). The handbook will give you the
tools necessary to make your unit FRG work for you.
Letter of Appointment: The Letter of Appointment is an official
document that must be submitted and signed the unit commander. Your
unit should keep this letter, give the appointee a copy, and fax a
copy to the Family Readiness Support Assistant at 801-432-4916. If
you do not have a Letter of Appointment on file for your Family
Readiness volunteers or have questions regarding the program, please
contact the Family Readiness Assistant at 801-432-4916 or DSN

Family Readiness Support Assistant (FRSA): Empowers commanders in
their duty to deliver the Total Army Family Programs so that Soldiers
and Families are entitled, informed, educated, assisted and made ready
for the unique demands of military life before, during and after
deployment.
