Enlisted Association of the National Guard in Utah (EANGUT)Program
|
|
$1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to members of the Utah Army National Guard, their spouses or dependents, and members of EANGUT.
Information concerning the EANGUT Scholarship Program can be found on their Web site. The address is www.eangut.org.

Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty ROTC Scholarship Program
|
|
Scholarships worth up to $20,000 per year plus $600 annually for schoolbooks
The Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship Program provides soldiers with the opportunity to compete for seven full scholarships worth up to $20,000 per year plus $600 annually for schoolbooks. Interested soldiers must meet the following criteria in order to compete for a GRFD Scholarship:
- The soldier must be a member of the Utah Army National Guard,
- Be enrolled in the Simultaneous Membership Program,
- Be enrolled in a Reserve Officers Training Corps Program,
- Be a non-scholarship ROTC Cadet, and
- Be contracted as an MS III or MS IV Cadet.
GRFD Scholarship recipients will also receive:
-
$300 monthly ROTC stipend (MS III) or,
-
$350 monthly ROTC stipend (MS IV) and,
-
$275 weekend drill pay (E5 pay grade or present grade, whichever is higher),
If the Cadet is eligible to receive a Montgomery GI Bill basic benefit such as,
-
$276 per month (as a full-time student), Chapter 1606 Selected Reserve – MGIB or
-
$900 per month (as a full-time student), Chapter 30 Active Duty – MGIB, he or she may contract for:
- The Montgomery GI Bill Kicker Program, $350 per month (as a full-time student).
That’s a total of between $575 and $1,775 per month, depending upon the benefits you qualify for, in addition to the GRFD Scholarship. Complete your degree, earn a commission and help lead the Army National Guard into the future!
Is there a service commitment?
Those soldiers selected to receive a GRFD Scholarship will incur an eight-year service commitment in the Army National Guard upon commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant. |

United States Military Academy (West Point, NY) Service-Connected Nomination Program
|
|
In addition to the Congressional Nomination process, there are opportunities for Enlisted members of the Utah Army National Guard to attend the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) and the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS) through Service-Connected Nominations.
Interested soldiers are should visit the admissions section of the U.S. Military Academy Web site. The Web site address is www.usma.edu .

Tillman
Scholarship
Now in its second
year, the Tillman Military Scholars program supports
educational opportunities for active and veteran service
members and their families by covering direct
study-related expenses. The 2010/2011 application opens
Monday, March 15, 2010 and is due by 5:00 p.m. EST on
Friday, April 30, 2010. The Tillman Military Scholars
application and additional information (FAQs, etc.) can
be found under the Tillman Military Scholars section of

Grand Canyon
University Scholarship
The Grand Canyon University
military enrollment department, has a $19000 scholarship
to offer any military member or their spouse or veteran
who wants to complete their Bachelors degree, or any
military member or spouse, or veteran, who wants to
pursue their Masters Degree a $7000 scholarship, as a
way of saying thanks for serving in the military. Could
you pass this information along to units and family
support groups.
