Several Ensembles function within the band, and can be booked separately from, or in addition to the full concert band:
|
Concert Band
The Concert Band currently consists of 55 members, and plays selections from traditional concert band literature, transcriptions for band of major classical works, marches, big band, variety, and novelty music. The Concert Band also conducts clinics and concerts for music students, with individual instruction for elementary to high school age students available.

Marching Band
The Marching Band has the same members as the Concert Band, but uses marching instruments and supports parades, military reviews, and other such functions.

Jazz Band
The Jazz Ensemble is a 20-piece big band made up from the top players in the band, and plays traditional and modern Jazz selections for dances and concerts. The Jazz Ensemble is also available for clinics with Jazz and Stage Band students.

Jazz Combo
The Jazz Combo is a small jazz group of 4 to 7 members, which plays primarily jazz standards in support of military and community functions requiring live background music.

Brass Quintet
The Brass Quintet (2 Trumpets, French Horn, Trombone, and Euphonium) is similar to the Jazz Combo in the activities it supports, but plays classical and modern selections.

Woodwind Quintet
The Woodwind Quintet plays a similar role to the Brass Quintet and Jazz Combo, but consists of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and french horn, and plays selections arranged especially for the unique sound of this combination of instruments.

Barber Shop Quartet
The Barbershop Quartet consists of 4 to 5 members of the band.

Rock Band
The Rock Band consists of 2 guitar players, a bass guitar player, keyboard player, percussionist and vocalists.
